I am currently a student at St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. I am working toward earning my bachelor's degree in Global Studies with a concentration on the Middle East and a minor in Economics. I would like to continue onto graduate school to further my education in International Relations after I obtain my bachelor's degree. I have taught and tutored English and Spanish to refugees in the Middle East during my undergraduate years, and enjoy helping students increase their fluency and other language skills. I've worked with students ranging from high schoolers to adult students, and I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, including reading, writing, history, psychology, math, and several AP and IB-level courses in history, geography, and politics. I also enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests like the ACT and SAT. I was raised in a Spanish and English bilingual home, and am currently working on both Arabic and Hebrew language skills. I enjoy helping students form connections between their interests and the subjects they struggle with to increase interest and engagement. I am truly passionate about education, and assisting students in conquering subjects they find challenging is greatly rewarding. In my free time, I like to cook, hike, and travel internationally.
